James worked for 20 years as an actor/director/producer/teacher and holds an MFA in Directing for Theatre from DePaul's Theatre School and worked another 15 years in the corporate world designing and leading onboarding programs, team building, sales and continuing education programs. As General Manager and later Chief Training Officer he was tasked with education and culture for a leading national staffing firm as it grew 500% in under 9 years, going from regional player to national superstar status while he led the production team until leaving them and forming a personal and executive coaching firm, JM Lynch Training & Consulting.
